In this academy, a very sincere endeavour is being made to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the young learners hailing from rural, urban and semi-urban areas of the state. With the active co-operation of the teaching and non-teaching staff, students and people of the locality, the college Management Committee will strive to undertake some developmental projects for the uplift of the institution. Keeping pace with the changing trends of education, the college management will leave no stone unturned to provide quality education to the rising generation of the Higher Secondary, Degree & Master Degree stages at par with the national standard and will help them plan their careers as perfect citizens of the state in particular and the country in general. We assure to provide effective learning i.e. Learning about learning with the ultimate aim of developing personalities of the young learners. The college is situated in a semi-urban area, Belguri, New Barpeta Road, Baksa, B.T.C (Assam ) far from the din & bustle of the market area easily accessible by road. It is hardly three kilometres away from the Barpeta Road Railway Station.Medium of instructions of the college are both Assamese and English. The Academy is fortunate enough to obtain Recognition & Examination Centre ( Venue) from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Gauhati University & Bodoland University. It is ready to impart education which is the process of human empowerment and enlightenment for the achievement of a better and higher quality of life. The better and higher quality of life can be achieved by means of stage wise progression of education within a wider system of life-long learning.
The Academy also aims at training the young students culturally and physically by introducing various co-curricular activities like physical training in sports and games and practical training in music, arts and crafts, computer education, etc. Efforts are being made to foster the sense of unity and integrity among the students of different castes, creeds and communities inside and outside the academy campus.
The Dronacharya Education Trust has started a co-educational English medium school named Dronacharya Public School (D.P.S.) under CBSE from the academic session (2024-25) and has also future plans to start a B.Ed. College and an Engineering Institute.
